We absolutely love it here and have visited many times. The owners have lovingly restored these two historic properties into stylish, comfortable, tranquil country hideaways, with breathtaking views. The two houses and pool area are perfectly set up in every way for communal holidays for large groups of friends or family. If you can drag yourselves away from the pool the nearby vineyards, medieval towns and castles are worth a visit. If you can't relax here, heaven help you!

We had a fabulous group holiday in July 2026 at La Paillotte. Plenty of space for 10 of us. The new games room and pool were fantastic. The area is lovely with eating options in Semur-en-Auxois and Mombarde.

Super für mehrere Generationen, viel Platz zum Essen, Spielen, Relaxen!! Toller Pool, wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt!!!!George ist ein Super-Gastgeber und hat uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben! Sehr unkomplizierter Check-In und Check-Out!!

Great for multiple generations, lots of space for eating, playing, and relaxing!! Wonderful pool, we felt completely comfortable!!!! George is a fantastic host and gave us valuable tips! Very easy check-in and check-out!!

Our stay at La Paillotte was very successful in every way. The house is functional and welcoming while allowing everyone to find their own space. Even an elderly person can feel very comfortable there. It offers the opportunity to make some wonderful cultural discoveries near Lantilly. We loved it, read a lot, and cooked a lot in complete peace and quiet, and we hope to return to the area!

Perfect
We had a perfect two weeks despite the bad weather. The house is spacious and very nicely located in a quiet little village. The view from the terrace and the pool is breathtaking. There is so much to see around!! Thank you, George!

Beautiful house with everything we needed only 5 hours from Caen and with a beautiful view over the valley. Very prompt responses from George the property manager. We had a lovely holiday visiting nearby villages and sites of interest and would recommend this house and location in such a lovely part of Burgundy.

Wonderful property - great for families
We have just packed up after a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. It was perfect for our needs, as grandad was able to stay on the ground floor, while the rest of the family had the upper floor. Well equipped kitchen, extremely comfortable beds and a view that our camera’s will never do justice to! Happy holiday-was all round…!

Exactly what we were looking for
Very good and clear instructions. Everything as described in the listing. Host responds immediately. Well-equipped house with everything you need. Pool well fenced with a gate that has a child lock. Garden well fenced for the dog. Our favorite spot: the spacious terrace at the back with a fantastic view.

Panoramic view....
It's a shame to have to leave the cottage 3 days early... maybe consider booking outside peak periods for a day? Urgent... heat the pool, otherwise out of season it's pointless or an unjustified extra cost because it's unusable

Perfect location!
We spent a week in this lovingly furnished house. The amenities, especially if you enjoy cooking, are excellent. All the rooms are very clean and spacious. The beds are also very comfortable and not worn out. The dog-safe enclosed garden and pool area are very well maintained and invite you to relax. An absolutely recommendable accommodation!!!
